Your Trip dates

Important: For Annual multi trip policies you will not be covered for travel cancellation until your policy start date. Please choose today's date if you want cover as soon as possible.

Your Traveller Details

Individual(s) - One person who is 18 years of age or over. Age is at the date the policy is purchased.

Couple - You and your spouse/partner. A partner is defined as a person who is either your husband or wife, civil partner, fiancé or fiancée, boyfriend or girlfriend and who permanently lives at the same address and has done so for a minimum of six (6) continuous months before the trip is booked and before the trip commences.

Family - Up to two adults and any number of their children, step children or foster children aged 17 years of age or under at date of issue of the policy. If annual multi trip, all insured persons are insured to travel on their own (children must be accompanied by a responsible adult).

Group - A group of individuals travelling together, who may not be related. A group can be up to 7 people.

Single Parent - One adult and any number of his or her children, step children or foster children aged 17 years or under at date of issue of the policy. If annual multi trip, all insured persons are insured to travel on their own (children must be accompanied by a responsible adult.

Medical Declarations

This policy contains conditions relating to your health.

Please note: We are unable to provide cover for any claim arising as a result of an existing medical condition of a non-travelling close relative, close business associate or friend living abroad who you had planned to stay with, or any known or recognised complication of or caused by the existing medical condition.

If you are answering the medical questions on behalf of someone else, you must make sure that you have their permission to do so and you have all of the required information to answer the medical questions fully and accurately. If you are not sure of (or do not know) any of the information you are giving us, the answers must be checked with the treating G.P.

Failure to accurately and fully declare all medical condition(s) for everyone to be insured on this policy will affect your cover and may result in your claim being declined.

Do you or any one to be insured under this policy have any medical conditions?

In the last 2 years – have you or anyone to be insured under this policy been treated for any medical condition, asked to take regular  prescibed medication, or seen by a specialist, or consultant or at a hospital for test, diagnosis or treatment ?  

EVER been diagnosed or received treatment for a stroke  including High blood pressure?

EVER been diagnosed or received treatment for any type of breathing condition (such as asthma)?

EVER been diagnosed or received treatment for any type of diabetes?

EVER been diagnosed or received treatment for any type of heart or circulatory condition?

EVER been diagnosed or received treatment for any psychological condition such as stress, anxiety, depression, eating disorders or mental instability?

Has your doctor, or the doctor of anyone to be insured under this policy, altered the regular prescribed medication in the last 3 months?

EVER been diagnosed or received treatment for any type of cancer (even if now in remission)?

For Annual multi trip customers there is an on-going health warranty on your cover.

If you or any insured person have any change in health, or your answers to any of the questions you have answered today change at any point after the purchase of this policy, you must contact us by telephone to inform us of this change in health before travelling and paying the balance in any payments to ensure you are fully covered for your trip. Cover will only apply if such changes are accepted by us and confirmed in writing to you.

Medical conditions that we cannot cover

We are unable to provide any cover for any medical condition for which you, or anyone else to be covered by this policy, have not received a diagnosis, are on a waiting list for or have knowledge of the need for surgery, treatment or investigation at a hospital, clinic or nursing home.

Eligibility conditions

  • You are permanently resident in the United Kingdom and have your main home in the United Kingdom;
  • You have been in the United Kingdom for a minimum of 6 months in the year prior to purchasing your insurance policy;

  • You are in the United Kingdom at the time of purchasing this policy. (Any trip that has begun when you purchase this insurance will not be covered);
  • You are not travelling against the advice of a doctor or where you would have been if you had sought their advice before beginning your trip;
